Vivid Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Temporary Works Engineer for an exciting national engineering consultancy for their Brisbane team. This organisation provides services to a broad range of sectors including healthcare, commercial, industrial, education, sports, community etc.
This is a chance for a driven and experienced engineer to advance within a highly regarded structural team and hone their technical abilities by working on a variety of fascinating and technically demanding building projects that will lead to exceptional design results.
THE ROLE
Primary focus would be to design and coordinate temporary works solutions for a variety of structural building projects
- You will be working closely with the wider project team to develop safe, compliant and buildable temporary works schemes, while liaising with contractors, sub-consultants and other design partners e.g. architect
- Ensure that accurate designs, calculations and documentation are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external
- At least 3+ years local temporary works or structural engineering experience
- MUST BE LOCATED IN AUSTRALIA
- Permanent work rights in Australia
- Can work autonomously with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and excellent analytical, communication & collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and building codes
- Experience with software such as Revit, Navisworks or similar is beneficial
