VIVID 2025 // What. A. Year. As we wrap up 2025, we’re looking back at the moments that made this wild ride unforgettable — and honestly, where do we even start? We’ve navigated a bumpy market, juggled school holidays, client deadlines, kids, dogs, and the occasional existential crisis… sometimes all before 10am. We’ve grown, adapted, laughed, stressed, hustled, and backed each other every step of the way. Alongside the year’s chaos came some very Vivid milestones: → Nick became a dad for the second time → Annie dramatically changed her hair colour → Lee continued breathing in that sweet, sweet Ballarat country air from the new regional office — allegedly now 15% calmer and 40% more “zen” as a result. Lee has been out and about visiting clients and catching up with candidates over the last few weeks, and the key takeaway is - everyone is waiting. ✅ Many projects are lined up but still sitting in approval limbo. Until they get the green light, studios remain hesitant to commit to new hires. ✅ As a result, there are still plenty of great candidates on the market, ready to jump in when things pick up. ✅ Interior designers continue to be in demand. Studios seem to have enough work to keep things ticking over but are always on the lookout for top talent. ✅ When things do move, it is going to happen fast. Studios will need to scale up quickly, and candidates will need to be ready to act. Lee reckons it will either be a waiting game or a non-stop hiring frenzy - no in-between! We have coincided Men's Health Week with The Push-Up Challenge. Dipping into Urbankind's team so we can work together to raise money and awareness for Mental Health... in particular, men's.
