Our story
Vivid Recruitment started as a conversation between mates over a few beers one Wednesday evening.
After spending years recruiting within both global and boutique agencies, we felt there was a better way to do things. We loved the industries we worked in and the relationships we built, but we were tired of seeing recruitment overcomplicated by processes, sales targets and unnecessary noise.
So, we started Vivid.
Today, we specialise in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Planning and Pre-construction recruitment across Australia.
We partner with businesses of all sizes, from boutique studios and specialist consultancies through to some of the country's most recognised firms.
We also work with professionals at every stage of their careers, from graduates taking their first step into the industry through to senior leaders shaping teams and businesses.
Over the years, we've had thousands of conversations with architects, designers, engineers, planners and employers across the country. Those conversations have taught us that great recruitment
isn't about filling jobs. It's about understanding people, careers, businesses and what success looks like for each of them.
With so many buzzwords, 'used car salesman' recruiters, and quite frankly bulls**t floating around the industry, we are committed to stripping recruitment back to what it should be.
We believe in honest advice, genuine relationships and clear communication. We tell people what they need to hear, not always what they want to hear, because that's how trust is built and better decisions are made.
We're proud to be a small team that genuinely cares about the industries we recruit for.

Yup, we're not about the suit and tie or stiletto heels (unless that's your thing). Wear your flip-flops or birks - we're cool with that - just not to in-person meetings.
