Their ICT and telecommunications practice is growing, and they're looking for a Senior ICT / Telecommunications Engineer to take ownership of project delivery and help drive that growth.
THE ROLE
This is a senior-level position for an engineer who's ready to lead. You'll be working across a diverse mix of sectors — commercial property, transport infrastructure, and data centres — with the autonomy to drive projects and the support of a technically sharp team behind you.
You won't be managing up constantly. You'll be trusted to run your own projects, lead documentation, liaise directly with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to growing the ICT capability of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of ICT and telecommunications systems across a range of project types and sectors
- Prepare detailed documentation, specifications, and reports to a high standard
- Manage client relationships and coordinate across multidisciplinary project teams
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards, codes, and quality systems
- Contribute to fee proposals, bids, and business development opportunities
- Operate with a high degree of independence while knowing when to escalate
You're an experienced ICT or telecommunications engineer with a background in the property and buildings sector. You've worked on complex projects, you know how to lead without being prompted, and you're either RCDD accredited or actively working towards it.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in ICT / telecommunications engineering
- Strong background in the property and buildings sector
- Proven experience across transport infrastructure and/or data centres
- Currently operating at Engineer or Senior Engineer level
- RCDD accreditation preferred, or demonstrated commitment to achieving it
- Demonstrated project leadership — able to run projects independently
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with relevant Australian standards and codes
