With a collaborative culture and a commitment to professional growth, they are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Sydney team and take the lead on a diverse range of projects.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, delivering, and managing mechanical building services projects across multiple sectors. You’ll be responsible for leading project design, liaising with clients and stakeholders, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring technical excellence from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical services design and documentation across a wide range of projects
• Ensure compliance with Australian codes, standards, and regulations (NCC, AS 1668, AS 3666, etc.)
• Manage project delivery including budgets, timelines, and technical outcomes
• Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Mentor and support junior team members in technical and project skills
• Contribute to business growth by maintaining and building strong client relationships

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 6–10+ years’ building services experience in a consulting environment
• Demonstrated experience leading mechanical design across medium to large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical services design, and compliance with NCC and relevant Australian standards
• Proficiency with design software including Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical analysis tools
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
