With a strong presence across multiple states and a rapidly expanding Queensland division, this organisation delivers complex, large-scale mechanical systems across high-rise residential, healthcare, infrastructure, commercial and specialist developments.
With a secured pipeline and long-term growth strategy in place, they are now seeking an HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join their Brisbane team.
THE ROLE
As an HVAC Mechanical Engineer, you will work directly alongside estimating, construction and project delivery teams to engineer systems that are practical, commercially viable and buildable.
You will be involved from early tender stages through to construction delivery, gaining real exposure to high-value projects and technical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support during tender submissions and value-management processes
- Develop concept designs, system layouts and engineering calculations
- Review documentation to ensure buildability and compliance
- Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams
- Drive practical, cost-effective engineering solutions
- Contribute to technical standards, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Engineers Australia recognised)
- Eligible for RPEQ registration (or actively working towards it)
- Demonstrated HVAC design/engineering experience within Australia
- Strong understanding of NCC, Australian Standards and compliance requirements
- Experience with CAMEL, Bluebeam and MS Office
- Solid technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plant and mechanical services
- Ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
