Vivid Recruitment is working with a leading consultancy delivering critical design work for Sydney Metro — Australia’s largest public transport infrastructure program.
We’re looking for experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineers at Senior, Associate, and Associate Director levels to join the building services team focused on station and precinct design .

THE ROLE
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the mechanical or electrical design of building services for metro stations and associated infrastructure
- Coordinating with architecture, civil/structural, and rail systems teams
- Delivering projects using BIM and digital engineering tools
- Driving future-ready design outcomes — energy efficiency, compliance, and innovation
- Attending design reviews and engaging with key stakeholders
- For Associate Director roles: leadership across multiple design packages and client interface responsibility
You’ll bring:
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 6–10+ years’ experience in building services consultancy
- Strong technical design background in either HVAC, or electrical systems (power, lighting, etc.)
- Experience on transport, healthcare, or complex infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with BIM tools and digital coordination platforms
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and coordination skills
- Full Australian working rights (essential)
