THE ROLE
We are seeking a part-time Contract Administrator to join our client's dynamic team for 2-3 days per week. This office-based role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $140,000 + Superannuation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer contracts and variations with clients within the architectural and interiors teams.
- Ensure compliance, cost control, and risk mitigation across high-value projects.
- Coordinate all architectural contracts between our client and clients, ensuring obligations under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (BIF) are met.
- Provide minor support in initial contract establishment with directors and assist with external legal reviews on client-supplied contracts.
- Actively engage with clients to monitor project progress and timelines, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
- Liaise between clients and internal teams to maintain positive relationships and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Assist in contract close-out, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
- Clearly articulate key contract obligations and timelines to clients and internal staff.
- Support the Director/Associate Director in resourcing projects correctly and submitting progress claims.
- Ensure progress claims are compliant with the BIF Act and contracts.
- Support in resolving disputes arising from client claims.
- Monitor contract timelines and submit variations for extensions of time (EOT) when relevant.
- Review variations from both internal staff and clients, submitting variations for both time and costs.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in contract administration within the construction industry, including managing contracts between builders and contractors.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements, particularly under the BIF Act.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities.
- Passionate about supporting a collaborative studio environment.
