OUR CLIENT
Our client is a growing, design-focused building services consultancy with offices across Australia. Known for their practical, solutions-led approach, they deliver high-performing, commercially sound projects across sectors including commercial, residential, mixed-use, and government. With a solid project pipeline and growing demand for hydraulic services, they’re now seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer
to take a leadership role—driving project delivery while helping to shape and grow a dedicated hydraulic team around them. This is a high-impact, career-defining opportunity for someone ready to step up.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Inspect existing sites and systems and devise clever solutions.
- Design all Hydraulic Services (Water, Sewer & Stormwater) and Wet Fire services
- Documenting in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.
- Liaise with local authorities to coordinate connection applications and permits.
- Lead project coordination meetings with architects, project managers, and other consultants.
- Handle RFIs during the tender and construction phases.
- Support Builders and Contractors during construction phase with RFIs and Site Inspections.
- Mentor graduates and junior staff through their development.
- Keep our clients happy so they keep coming back!
What We're Looking For:
- A local Sydney-based team player.
- A clear communicator, both written and verbal
- Bachelor of Engineering or relevant Certificate IV.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP (a plus, but not a must).
- 6+ years of consulting design experience and the confidence to work independently.
- Chartered with Engineers Australia and/or FPAA (a plus, but not a must).
