A Project Architect has mastered the delivery of projects of the size and scale typical of a local design firm. To run a project with autonomy whilst also ensuring a high standard of client service, project service quality, and office standards. Will refer to the Associate Architect and Director for guidance on design, variations, and project outcomes.
A Project Architect will, in various project phases, manage a team to assist in the delivery of the project and will be responsible for the coordination and checking of documents produced by team members. A Project Architect will be effective in managing time for the project and achieving all deadlines.
Role Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Director or Associate in charge of key project stages.
- Prepare and develop (with the team where required) documentation relating to the design.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver across all stages of architectural projects.
- Ensure design responses are appropriate, solution-focused, and address the client brief.
- Take responsibility for the coordination and checking of documents.
- Create specifications and revise drawings and specs as required.
- Supervise and coordinate the wider team, including multi-disciplinary design coordination.
- Drive the delivery of documentation and architectural packages within the team.
- Manage and inspire through design and technical leadership.
- Report to the Director or Associate on organisational activities and feedback.
- Clear understanding and application of local design firm standards and procedures.
- Maintain ongoing professional competencies.
- A tertiary degree from a recognised school of Architecture.
- Registration as an Architect in Queensland (Ideally).
- Relevant multi-residential specific experience.
- A knowledge base commensurate with industry best practice.
- High level of skill across Microsoft suite and Creative Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of BCA, NCC, and Australian Standards.
- Revit proficiency is a must.
- Some professional experience with rendering software is desirable (Rhino, Lumion, etc.).
- Outstanding communication skills and record-keeping.

- Experienced Graduate (Minimum 2 years Local Experience / Multi Residential / Revit / Driven / Ambitious)
- Interior Designers (Minimum 3 years Local Experience / Multi Residential / Revit / All Rounder / Driven / Ambitious)
- Senior ID (Minimum 6 Years Local Experience / Education / Large Scale Design Studio / Revit)
